Hi there – we're so glad you're here,

What a week it's been – one filled with creation, connection, and those beautifully imperfect moments that remind us we're all just figuring it out as we go.

Building Something New

We've been pouring our hearts into some exciting new websites for our latest business venture. There's something magical about watching an idea take shape, pixel by pixel, word by word. Each page we build feels like we're creating space for more light to shine – both ours and the people we hope to serve. It's equal parts exhilarating and terrifying, which usually means we're heading in the right direction.

The Gift of Intentional Moments

This week, we made a conscious choice to slow down and be present with our kids over Chinese food. Yes, we had our phones with us, but we were intentional about how we showed up – choosing connection over distraction, conversation over scrolling. There's something about sharing mandarin chicken and creating space for real dialogue that reminds us what matters most. These moments don't happen by accident; they require intention, even in our imperfect, phone-carrying reality.

When the Light Dims (And That's Okay)

We'd be lying if we said this week was all sunshine and smooth sailing. Earlier this week, we found ourselves struggling to "speak in the light" – you know those moments when hurt feelings cloud our usual grace, and we forget that love doesn't mean we always have to agree.

But here's what we learned (again): it's okay to not be okay sometimes. It's okay to have those conversations that feel hard. What matters is that we found our way back to each other, with deeper understanding and renewed appreciation for the fact that two people can see things differently and still choose love.

Creating and Connecting

Between recording our latest podcast episode and spending countless "extra" hours building our new venture, we've also been focusing on growing our social media presence. It's not about the numbers – it's about creating genuine connections and building a community where people feel seen and heard.

Every comment, every share, every person who takes time to engage reminds us why we do this work. You're not just followers; you're fellow travelers on this journey of growth and connection.

As we wrap up another week, we're reminded that life isn't about perfection – it's about showing up authentically, even when it's messy. It's about building dreams while staying grounded in what matters most. It's about speaking our truth, even when our voices shake, and finding our way back to love when we inevitably stumble.
